The problem

You know you spend money. You just don't know where.

Your bank app shows you a list. It doesn't tell you that you spent ₦47,000 on POS charges last month, or that three streaming subscriptions are quietly draining your account, or that your “small chops” habit is actually a budget line.

Most apps ask you to categorise every transaction yourself. You give up by week three. We've all done it.

Kobolytics is different. It does the work.

How it works

Three steps. Then we get out of your way.

No spreadsheets. No manual entry. No guilt.

Step 01

Connect your bank

Link your Nigerian bank account in under a minute through a secure, licensed connection. We get read-only access — we can see your transactions, nothing else. We can't move money. Ever.

Step 02

We make sense of it

Kobolytics reads your last three months of transactions and automatically sorts them. POS charges, Opay transfers, Moniepoint payments, airtime, fuel, food — we understand how Nigerian banks describe things. Other apps don't.

Step 03

You finally see the picture

Open the app and see where your money actually went. By category. By merchant. By month. Set limits on the categories that matter to you. Get notified when something looks unusual.

What you'll see

The picture you've been missing.

Your month at a glance

A single screen shows where every naira went. Top categories, top merchants, biggest surprises.

Built for Nigerian banks

We recognise POS terminals, Opay, Moniepoint, PalmPay, Kuda, GTB narrations, and the thousand ways merchants describe themselves. If we get one wrong, fix it in one tap — and we'll remember.

Limits that actually work

Set a monthly limit on food, transport, or anything else. We'll tell you when you're close — without lecturing you.

Trust & security

Your bank account. Your data. Your rules.

Read-only access

We connect through a licensed Nigerian financial data provider. We can read your transactions. We cannot move money, change your password, or access anything beyond what you approve.

Encrypted, end to end

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We follow NDPR requirements for how Nigerian user data is stored and handled.

Delete anytime

You own your data. Close your account in the app and everything we hold about you is permanently deleted. No forms, no emails, no friction.

Built under Zodos Technology. Reviewed by Nigerian fintech counsel.

Who it's for

For people who want to understand their money — not be lectured by it.

The young professional

You earn well. You spend well. You'd just like to know where it goes between payday and the 20th.

The freelancer or business owner

Personal and business spending live in the same account. You need to untangle them — fast.

Anyone who's tried a budgeting app

And quit. Because manually tagging "Transfer to John" twelve times a month is not a life.

FAQ

The questions you actually want answered.

If your question isn't here, email support@kobolytics.com.

No. We use a licensed Nigerian financial data provider to get read-only access to your transaction history. Your password never touches us — you authenticate directly with your bank.

No. The connection is one-way. We can read your transactions. We cannot transfer, withdraw, pay, or do anything with your funds. That's enforced at the data-provider level, not just by us.

At launch: every major Nigerian bank — GTB, Access, Zenith, UBA, First Bank, Stanbic, Wema, Sterling, Fidelity, Union, FCMB, Kuda, and more. If your bank isn't supported yet, join the waitlist and we'll let you know when it is.

We currently support traditional Nigerian banks at launch. Fintech wallets like Opay and Moniepoint are on our roadmap. In the meantime, transactions to and from these wallets from your linked bank are fully tracked and categorised.

Kobolytics is ₦1,500/month or ₦15,000/year (two months on the house). Every account gets a 7-day trial. No card today, no hidden fees, no upsells — the price you see is the price you pay.

Everything we hold about you is permanently deleted. We don't keep "anonymised" copies. NDPR gives you the right to erasure; we built the app to honour it without making you ask twice.

Neither. We're not licensed to hold your money, and we'll never offer you a loan. Kobolytics helps you understand your money. That's it.
